The first forum of the CASE project was held in Berlin, Germany on November 27. Members of industry associations, caravan manufacturers, dealers, campgrounds owners, outdoor products producers, and medias from China, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, and other European countries attended the 2-day meeting. Professional reports and industry information exchanged, business leads discussed during the meeting. Members also visited some of the major campgrounds in Germany and Denmark. It’s believed that in the new future, China will see a fast development of caravan and camping industry.
CASE – EU-China Matchmaking for Facilities and Services is a project that has as its purpose to establish a basis for a future business co-operation between European and Chinese camping organizations as well as bringing European technologies and standards related to camping into China.
The CASE project initiated and formed by BPV Company, BVCD (German Federal Association of Camping Economy), Camping Board of Denmark, and BAMSA (Beijing Auto & Motor Sports Association), which was approved and sponsored by EU, will be a long-term platform for business cooperation between European and Chinese camping institutions and enterprises. Through this platform, government institutions, enterprises, and consumers can exchange and promote European camping structure, system, service technique and standards, furthermore, to obtain a sustained win-win objective.
